For those of you beyond the mid Atlantic states I thought I'd share a little picture of the snow we've been receiving. Just a few flurries, really.
They are predicting 20-30 inches in the DC area. Now, I've spend my entire life up until this point in New England. I have braved storms the likes of which Washington has never seen. But there is something about everyone being in a tizzy that makes my heart start pumping too.
I worked until 5:30 today and then trudged home in the snow, it had just started to accumulate. I spent a lovely evening on the couch, finishing two long over due knitting projects, and drinking one long over due glass of vino.
I am looking forward to continuing all of this tomorrow. This storm is going to be a long haul-but I got flannel pjs and no place to go. :-)
