Life lessons in socks.

Recently I finished reading "How to Knit a Love Song" by Rachael Herron. It was a really sweet love story, but with knitting. I'm rather enjoying the new genre of knit lit.

Before each chapter was a little bit of knitting advice. Funny how knitting advice can be applied to life. I'm a pretty high strung person and therefore a pretty tense knitter. Lately, I've been trying to take things more in stride. First in knitting...then hopefully then hopefully in my life.

These socks aren't perfect. The stripes don't match. At all. But...they are purple striped socks. And if I'm going to be the kind of girl who wears purple striped socks, I probably can't be the kind of girl who worries about them matching. Right?

Oh. And as I write this I'm wearing my finished Central Park Hoodie! I'll post pictures as soon as I can.
